Hi and welcome. I’m Kristy, the heart behind Redbrick Insights. I have a passion for intertwining the pivotal role of human capital with the broad objectives of the business, a connection that creates purpose for employees and cultivates substantial financial performance, a win-win!
I started my career in staffing services, both recruiting, sales, and leadership roles, back in the late 90s and early 2000s. This period was a hotbed for these services. Along with thousands of others, I was walking in cold calling everyone in the Orlando market, trying to get past the ever-focused ‘gatekeeper’ to pitch what I believed was a better service than the person walking in behind me.
Once I transitioned from staffing to the corporate world of HR, I took all those lessons with me. Specifically, lesson one – treat your new partners, the leaders in this company, as a client to win them over, create a partnership with them, and ensure to connect the dots for what’s in it for them. One of my passions has always been determining how to elevate the HR team's perception from being seen as merely the 'huggers,' the administrative department, or the ones that hire and fire, to that of a partner who can propel the company forward with just a bit of trust and collaboration. Changing people's perspectives on this was no easy task, not to mention preparing the team to be seen differently and provide solutions in an entirely different way.
But the payoff is worth the time invested, trust me.
When an executive team can see how we, as HR professionals, understand the business beyond what others may manage to do, how we can navigate complex challenges, inspire others, and drive growth. At this point, they realize how our partnership can be instrumental in unlocking the full potential of our human capital.
I’ve been lucky now to hold the top HR roles in high-growth industries in private, founder led companies and private equity ownership. I’ve seen the success that a company can have when we align and bridge the gap between human capital and business objectives – the result is a powerful connection that drives purpose for employees and substantial financial performance for organizations.
My leadership style is transformation and coaching. I am deeply passionate about guiding people to think about their potential, what more they can do, and what more we can do together.
When I am not busy helping others to solve business issues or strategizing for growth, I will likely enjoy quality time at my home in Winter Park, FL, or San Juan, PR, with my loved ones. On the weekends, you will spot me cheering on my 13-year-old daughter in her volleyball games. I’m a person who values family, camaraderie, and a good competitive spirit.
I look forward to meeting you and exploring how we can pave the way for your human capital success!

The Redbrick Insights name holds significant meaning and reflects the core values of our human capital consulting firm— Strength, Reliability, Timelessness in the ever-evolving world of human resources.
Driving down one of the many red brick roads in my neighborhood, it occurred to me that red bricks are the strong foundation that so many streets and homes have been built.
My passion for starting this company is to provide solutions that provide solid foundations for companies through their people alignment.
The more I thought about a business name, the more I returned to the idea of strong, red bricks enduring the tests of time and how Redbrick Insights provides a solid foundation for an organization's human capital management and ensures every aspect of your people strategy is solid and reliable.
